Our shops are always in need of good quality items to sell and welcome your donations, so the next time you have a spring clean or house clearance, please remember Wakefield Hospice may be able to benefit from your unwanted items.
So don’t bin it, bag it up for Wakefield Hospice.
You can deliver your goods at any of our shops, warehouse or the hospice itself.
For bulkier items or if you do not have transport, a collection service is also available. Please telephone our warehouse on 01924 383294 to make arrangements.

From Rags to Riches
Don’t feel you have to give us your best seconds. You can also help by donating torn, tatty and unwearable clothes and materials as we receive 44 pence for every kilo of rags we recycle.
Bag Drops ~ Don’t Bin It, Bag It Up!!
Due to a high demand for our high quality clothing, we now run regular bag drops within the Wakefield area. We are always amazed and grateful to the community for donating such excellent quality of goods and the bag drops have shown a tremendous growth since starting in 2005.
Restricted Goods
Unfortunately due to legislation, we cannot accept the following items:
- Crash/cycle helmets, visors and riding hats
- Children’s car seats
- Pushchairs
- Mattresses
- Fur
- Gas appliances
- Oil heaters and burners
- Furniture without the appropriate fire retardant label
- Weapons (including knives & cutlery)
Please ensure donated items are in a good & safe working condition and comply with current legislation.
