We are very excited about the recent re-branding of our
Cross Street shop, with its new vintage / retro clothing range from every era. All stock has been hand picked for its design and style quality. We have top names and classic high quality clothes with wonderful accessories, plus some one-off vintage finds and unique items of jewellery. We also have a wide variety of books in excellent condition, a selection of furniture and beautiful homeware items along with a display of artwork - much of which has been made or painted by visitors to the Hospice’s Day Therapy Unit.
Our Ossett shop has recently opened a second venue directly opposite the existing store and has proved extremely popular. We stock a selection of high quality antiques, books and gifts and it is the ideal place for finding that special present or quirky item for your home.
Wakefield Hospice has five high street outlets in and around the Wakefield area and a warehouse where donated goods are sorted, distributed and sold.
Each shop plays a primary role in generating much needed revenue towards patient care, which it does through the sale of quality donated goods.
All our shops stock good quality items at bargain prices, so pop in for a look; you may be surprised at what you find!
Our shops are run by salaried managers and are assisted by volunteers who give their time freely to help with all tasks involved from sorting to pricing to merchandising to steaming and creating seasonal displays.
