ADOPT A DUCK TODAY IN AID OF WAKEFIELD HOSPICE AND HELP BREAK A WORLD RECORD!
In 2007, the Great British Duck Race smashed the World Record by racing 165,000 yellow plastic ducks down the River Thames and raised over £100,000 for UK Charities.
On Sunday 31st August, they hope to beat their record by racing 250,000 ducks down the 1km course.
You can adopt a duck from as little as £2[1].Wakefield Hospice has signed up as a beneficiary from the event and ask you to adopt a duck to help us raise additional and essential funds.

By adopting a duck, you will automatically be entered into the prize draw with 30 prizes up for grabs, including top prize of £10,000!
HOW TO DO IT…..
There are 3 ways you can adopt a duck:
- Purchase a duck online
- Register online at www.thegreatbritishduckrace.co.uk and nominate Wakefield Hospice as the beneficiary. Adopt your ducks through the site. You will be able to set up and manage your own webpage within the site, promoting the scheme and your support of the hospice to others.
- Wakefield Hospice will take direct orders through the Duck Card scheme. Cards are available in multiples of 50 and are available on a sale or return basis. Each card will cost £3. Souvenir ducks or badges will be provided with each adoption.
