There are nine volunteer Fundraising Groups in and around Wakefield, all of whom arrange fundraising events in their own areas. Events are many and varied including coffee mornings, concerts, fairs, fashion shows, bucket collections, wine-tasting evenings and many more. Some groups have a large number of members, others a few, but whatever their numbers, their efforts are greatly valued by the hospice.
The total amount raised by the groups varies from year to year but has been as much as £85,000.

New members are always welcome to help organise and run our various fundraising events. Even if you would rather not attend our group meetings, but can spare a few hours to help on occassions, your support will be appreciated.
