Organise Your Own Event

Holding your own event can be hugely rewarding and great fun. If you would like to organise a fundraising event for us, no matter how big or small, we can help you each step of the way; we have a dedicated team of professional fundraisers at the hospice who can help you by supplying ideas, help and support.

However, it is always worth asking us if you want to organise something unusual such as a parachute jump, abseil etc. as we do have contacts with companies that run these type of events, which will ultimately save you time and hassle.

Firstly though, you must register your event with us. You can do this by completing the event registration form and sending either by email, to terry.rigg@wakefieldhospice.co.uk or by post to: Wakefield Hospice, Aberford Road, Wakefield, WF1 4TS.

Once we have received your application you will be issued with a fundraising pack, which contains useful information and guidance on running a successful event.
