HOW TO LEAVE YOUR GIFT TO WAKEFIELD HOSPICE
There are two main types of gift you can make:
| A specific legacy: a set amount of money or an item |
| A residuary legacy: this is what remains of your estate after all outstanding debts and other legacies have been paid (this is often the most beneficial type of gift) |
If you have not already done so, we recommend you seek the advice of a solicitor who will be able to advise you on what is the best way to draw up your Will to make sure that it is legally valid.
After you have provided for family and friends, a Will is a good opportunity to remember charitable causes that are close to your heart and to ensure that your support to those causes lives on. Remember that your gift to Wakefield Hospice would be completely free of Inheritance Tax.
If you decide to support us in this way, please do let us know so that we can show our appreciation to you directly. You can do so by downloading and filling in the pledge form below and returning to the address at the foot of this page:

Any gift, large or small, is very gratefully received and it makes a tremendous difference to the future of Wakefield Hospice.
