Volunteer Opportunities

The more hands, the lighter the load!

All we ask is for a few hours of your time on a regular basis, you do not need any previous experience as full training is provided.

There are voluntary opportunities in all areas of the hospice and its retail outlets. The application form below lists all opportunities available, some of which include:

IMMEDIATE VACANCIES

Shop Workers - hours to suit most people. Locations throughout Wakefield. Duties include; serving on the till, pricing and tagging clothes, general tidying.

Donation sorters - at our Warehouse in Thornes, Wakefield. Duties include; sorting through donated items.

Volunteers for fundraising events - most suitable for those who can only help out on an 'ad hoc' basis. Various days and times throughout the year. Ideal for those who are in full time employment or education.
