What are trustees?

Trustees are volunteers responsible for ensuring the mission and long-term aims of the charity, are met. Trustees also ensure that all resources are used appropriately. They also influence the direction of the charity and take legal responsibility for the charity. Trustees do this by calling on their vast experience within their areas of expertise.

I am delighted to join the hospice trustees and to Chair the Clinical Governance and Quality Committee. I have been impressed with the professionalism with which both clinical and managerial staff serve those who use the Hospice and look forward playing my part as the hospice moves forward and continues to deliver safe high quality patient care.
