Tina joined Wakefield Hospice in May 2016 having previously worked for The University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay Trust, where she was a Divisional General Manager. Prior to this Tina lived and worked on the Isle of Wight for thirty years.
Helen Knowles
Director of Income Generation
Helen has worked at Wakefield Hospice for over 30 years and has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of fundraising, retail, volunteering and marketing and over the years has been involved in many organisations and committees. She currently sits on the Legacy Foresight In-Memory Steering Group.
Janet Millard
Director of Clinical Services
Janet has been a nurse for 27 years, completing her Registered General Nurse Training at Wakefield and Pontefract School of Health Studies. Janet is currently the Director for Clinical Services having the responsibility for the legal compliance in all matters relating to controlled drugs.
Emma Lowe
Consultant in Palliative Medicine and Medical Director
After previously working at the hospice as a junior doctor, Emma joined the team as a Consultant in September 2016 and became Medical Director in August 2020. She completed specialty training in various locations across Yorkshire. Emma is also the MND lead for Mid Yorkshire
Craig Beedle
Director of Finance, Estates and Resources
Craig is a chartered accountant with over 25 years of industry and charity experience in senior finance roles. He trained with Deloitte and was the finance director of a £150m food wholesale business. He joined us in January 2022.
