Spiritual and Wellbeing
We know that stepping into the hospice as a patient or family member can be overwhelming.

It's not unusual to experience anxiety or fear

Our support team are here to put you at ease, to answer questions and to look after your wellbeing during your stay.

Some people find that their faith and beliefs are an important part of that support structure. Our volunteer Chaplains and Spiritual Support teams are on hand to offer reassurance and comfort if needed.

We encourage our patients to talk about their lives, to celebrate their individual stories and we hope that we provide an atmosphere of calm and reassurance here at the hospice.

Our gardens have quiet areas where patients can spend time with family and friends and there is also a space for quiet reflection for people, regardless of faith or non. Visitors are always welcomed with a smile and a friendly ‘ear’ is never far away.
