Day Therapy Unit

Supportive therapies for adults and their carers, whose lives are touched by cancer or a life threatening illness

Art TherapyThe hospice aims to provide support that is free and confidential for those whose lives are touched by cancer or a life threatening illness.

This support for you and your family is provided in a purpose built Day Therapy Unit and is staffed by a specialist mult-professional team in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

There is also an opportunity to talk with and gain support from others who are living with the effects of cancer or a life threatening illness.

Your first visit will include an assessment of your needs and an individual plan of therapies will be offered. Some of these therapies may be by specified appointment and time limited.

"Wonderful opportunity to absorb myself in a relaxing activity. I always leave the Day Therapy Unit feeling much better than when I arrive" (Jo Richmond)

NO FORMAL REFERRAL IS REQUIRED

The Unit offers a Drop-In Service, available on:

Tuesday: 9.30am - 3.30pm

Wednesday: 1.00pm - 7.00pm

Thursday: 9.30am - 3.30pm

You are welcome to 'drop in' within the above hours, with the exception of Bank Holiday weeks.
