In-patient Survey Results

Questionnaires are hand given to all in-patients upon discharge. In the time period for this survey, 61 were issued with 29 returned - a return rate of 48%. The results are as follows:

  • I could not fault the care
  • All the staff of all grades were polite, friendly, supportive
  • They went out of their way to be helpful and caring. Nothing was ever too much trouble
  • Staff always ready to help and explain what they thought would be best and why
  • I had that much confidence from all staff that myself and family felt safe, reassured and relaxed

  • Not in my case. The staff appreciated my own health care knowledge but equally confirmed I understood all being said to me

  • I can't really put into words how wonderful everyone at the Hospice are. No matter how ill you are they put you at ease and are always there for you. thanks a thousand times over
  • Your service is excellent. Your organisation should be extremely proud of your service offered

  • I had no complaints about anything the nurses and medical staff in my opinion were excellent
