Survey Discussion

A review of our findings

There continues to be an improved response rate following the change in practice to giving out the questionnaire on discharge. Overall there was a very positive response throughout the questionnaire relating to all aspects of care.

One patient had responded that they never received sufficient time to make decisions. However, the rest of the questionnaire was highly positive and the respondent had written a coming thanking staff for their care. This may indicate a misread question.

Of all the patients who identified that they had had discussions relating to resuscitation, 91% stated they had fully understood the discussion. One patient, 9% stated as partial understanding.
