Become A Business Buddy

Businesses are being asked to buddy up with Wakefield Hospice in a brand new corporate venture

Companies can join the new Business Buddy scheme and pledge to support the charity financially, enjoying positive publicity and networking opportunities with other businesses.

Daphne Leach, Trust Fundraiser at the hospice comments: “We ask businesses that join the scheme to give either a single annual donation or a monthly amount of their choice. Any business can get involved, however big or small they are, and they choose the level of support that they can offer the hospice.”

Each business joining the scheme will receive a framed certificate identifying them as a Wakefield Hospice Business Buddy, and there will be a direct link to each company’s website from the hospice website.

Daphne Leach added: “It will be positive publicity for the businesses who work with us and we plan to keep them updated with hospice news and invite them to Business Buddy lunches where they can network with other companies that are part of the scheme. It’s great for the hospice as it will allow us to develop a sustainable form of income, so everyone wins.”
