Sponsored Bike Ride 2010

Thank you to the 160 cyclists who took part in the 2010 Bike Ride on Sunday 15th August. A group of cyclists from Rochdale Cycling Club even ventured over the Pennines for the day just to take part. It was a gloriously sunny day and everyone completed either the 20mile, 40 mile or the Fun Ride!

Over £4,000 has been raised so far which is the most the Bike Ride has ever generated!

Special thanks to our sponsors Oval Insurance and GTP Cycles in addition to Wakefeidl District Cycle forum for all their help with the routes and for providing the bike doctor service.

We look forward to seeing you again next year, the Big Wheel will return on Sunday 14th August 2011.
