SANTAS DASH TO HELP WAKEFIELD HOSPICE!
Sunday 11th December saw our biggest Santa Dash to date when 250 supporters completed one lap of Pugneys to raise much needed funds for us!
As well as Santa Clause we were joined by elves, Christmas puddings and even a turkey! Horbury Brass Band added to the festivities by playing popular Christmas songs and carols to spur the dashers on.
To date over £2,000 has been raised - we will update this figure as sponsorship is received.

Special thanks to Pugneys Country Park for hosting the event and Horbury Brass Band for joining us. Thanks also to Blacker Hall Farm for helping to promote the event and for giving every dasher a voucher for a complementary hot drink and mince pie or cake as a thanks for taking part. Thank you also to Flaming Photography for capturing the day and of course to our volunteers for helping to organise and run the event. And last but not least special thanks to our official Santa and his elf for starting the dash for us!
