Tree of Life
A simple and lasting way to remember a loved one

The Tree of Life is a sculpture of memories; a copper-clad welded steel
construction located in the grounds of the hospice. With 12 branches, each representing the months of the year, it holds over 400 electroformed copper leaves, on to which you can engrave the name of your loved one whom they wish to remember. The leaf stays on the Tree for 12 months, during which time the supporter can come and visit the Tree and spend time of quiet reflection. At the end of the 12 months the supporter is sent the leaf to keep and treasure.
Leaves can be purchased and displayed on the Tree in memory of patients who were cared for at the hospice from January 1st 2007 onwards.

VISITS TO THE GARDEN
This will be during normal hospice visiting hours. Careful consideration has been given to the design and the planting of the garden to offer all year round pleasure of the senses, whilst offering a haven and food source for the hospice's abundant wildlife.
The Hospice and Drop-In Bereavement Teams are available to accompany you on your visit should you want additional support. If you wish to make an appointment please contact us on 01924 213900.
