This simple event encourages supporters to make a memorable meal to share with family and friends in exchange for a donation. Most of us will agree that food comes attached to special memories. Sunday lunches with all the family? Learning to cook with grandma? Sharing that food with family and friends helps us to share those special memories.

We’re asking supporters old and new to hold a special Taste of Home event, this could be a dinner party, coffee morning or afternoon tea to help raise funds for Wakefield Hospice.  You can host your event at home, school or work and invite family, friends and colleagues to join you.

We would like as many people as possible to take part in this fundraising activity to help raise funds for patient care at Wakefield Hospice.

Hospice supporter Jane McDonald said 'I love the idea of getting together with friends and loved ones to raise money for an amazing cause. Eat drink and have fun everyone.'
Love Jane McDonald
