This year's Light Up a Life services will take place on Friday 8th December (at the hospice) and Sunday 10th December (at Wakefield Cathedral).
This Christmas we invite you to remember a loved one by dedicating a light on the Tree of Lights. In return, you'll receive a personalised card for your dedication(s).

The name of each person being remembered will appear in the Book of Blessings which will be displayed at Wakefield Cathedral until Twelfth Night. You can also request a small copy of the Book of Blessings so you can view your dedication(s) at home. Please ensure we receive your dedication(s) by 30 November for it to appear in the copy of the Book of Blessings.
After this date, any further dedications will appear in the back of the Book of Blessings at the Cathedral and will not appear in the small copies of the Book.
We can also provide a home pack which includes a Light up a Life pin badge, candle, prayer and readings for you to participate at home. If you would like to order a home pack and/or Book of Blessings then please leave an additional donation during the checkout process.
Light up a Life Services
The Tree of Lights will be lit at special dedication services when hundreds of white lights will shine for the loved ones being remembered. If you would like to attend a service please request tickets when you make your dedication(s).

Friday 8 December at Wakefield Hospice (outdoor), 6.30pm
Sunday 10 December at Wakefield Cathedral, 2pm
Sunday 10 December at Wakefield Cathedral, 5pm
