Wakefield Hospice Fundraising aims to generate funds in a cost-effective and ethical manner, allowing the hospice to continue its role as a provider of specialist palliative care for patients and their families.
By increasing and maintaining Fundraising revenue in the most professional, efficient and cost effective manner, we continually seek to improve, expand and enhance relationships with new and existing supporters.
We are members of the Fundraising Standards Board (FRSB) self-regulatory scheme. The FRSB scheme ensures that fundraisers committ to the highest standards of practice, and that all of our activities are open, fair, honest and legal; striving to achieve the highest professional standards at all times. By signing up to the FRSB scheme we have agreed to adhere to the Donors’ Charter when raising funds.
As members of the scheme, we follow the Institute of Fundraising’s Codes of Fundraising Practice and comply with the key principles embodied in the Codes and in this promise.
