TRUST IN US

Financial support from Grants and Trusts is a very important source of income for Wakefield Hospice.  It can offer stability by covering core services or enable vision to become reality by funding innovation and development of existing and new services. Through the generosity of grant makers such as Trusts and Foundations we can grow, improve and develop as a service provider as we continually strive to offer the best possible care to our patients and their families.

Funding may be needed for a specific service, piece of clinical and non-clinical equipment or it might be to fund a specific person to help develop the expertise of our staff.

We are continually looking for support across all aspects of work here at the hospice and have many opportunities to support our projects.  If you are aware of any trust or foundation, no matter how big or small, who might be able to support any aspect of hospice work (clinical or non-clinical), then we’d love to hear from you.

Wakefield Hospice Winners Story
Wakefield Hospice are proud to have been chosen as a winner’s story for the OneFamily Foundation.

The £5000 grant received, as a result of a public vote, has now been used to create a new garden space for visitors and patients outside of our new family room and the OneFamily Foundation have chosen our hospice as an example to promote the benefits of their charitable giving to wider public.

This wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the Wakefield community voting for us, so thank you everyone, this one’s for you!
