Warehouse Opening - 22 June 2020

Our warehouse will reopen on Monday 22 June 2020. To ensure the safety of our staff and supporters we have a booking system in place and would kindly ask that you book a time slot for your donation drop off. To book a donation slot please use this link https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/wakefield-hospice-warehouse-donation-drop-off-registration-107214007984. Please note that at this time we are not accepting large items of furniture in your donation drop off slot, please use the link below for collections.

If you wish to book a collection of furniture please use this link https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/wakefield-hospice-donation-collection-tickets-112481302604 please note to ensure that only saleable items are collected images will need to be sent via email and your booking will be confirmed.

Please note that the hospice is using Eventbrite to manage warehouse donation and collection bookings. Eventbrite is a third-party Cloud service. To book a time slot you will need to provide your name, email address, phone number and car registration, and you will have to register with the Eventbrite service as a personal consumer.

Eventbrite will ask you to create an account with them using at least your first name, last name and your email address. Please ensure you read and understand their privacy policy. Please also note that Eventbrite is a company registered in the United States, and the data you provide to them is most likely to be kept in the servers outside the EU. The information we require from the Eventbrite system is minimal and is solely used in order to facilitate your donation drop off or collection. The Eventbrite system is widely used across the world to host millions of events each year. We are looking at alternative systems for use in the longer term but this may take some time to develop.
 

Shop Opening

We plan to reopen our shops on a phased return from Friday 3 July, for opening times check here.

Wakefield Hospice has six charity shops across the district. All of our shops have new stock arriving daily and the varied supply means that we cater for everyone's taste. If you want something different with a unique style our shops are simply made for you. 
 
Our spacious Ridings Centre Shop is situated by the Cathedral entrance on the Upper Mall and carries a huge selection of womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, and accessories, along with a smaller range of home, gifts and toys. If you want to keep up to date with the latest fashions and trends be sure to pay us a visit.
 
Our shop on Teall Street in Wakefield City Centre specialises in antique and vintage style and stocks a fabulous range of homewares, furniture, books, toys, womenswear and accessories. If you’re on the lookout for something a little bit different this shop is a must.
 
Our shop on George Street is also in the City Centre is set over three floors with customer parking to the rear. It holds a huge variety of homeware, furniture, toys, music and books. There is so much to choose from you will not leave empty handed. Visit us to find a real bargain for your home.
 
Our Horbury Shop can be found on High Street and carries a great selection of womenswear, menswear and accessories. From designer labels to leading high street fashion brands you will be surprised at the treasure within this shop. If you like to stand out from the crowd and want to make your friends jealous come take a look.
 
Our shops in the Wellgate Centre, Ossett offer great choice and excellent value for money. We have a wide variety of homewares, furniture, toys, books, womenswear, menswear and accessories. With deliveries everyday there is plenty of choice and always something new to be found.   
 
All of our shops are run by salaried managers and are assisted by volunteers who give their time freely to help with all the tasks involved from sorting to pricing, merchandising to steaming, and creating fabulous seasonal displays.
