Retail Donations
Wakefield Hospice

Our shops are always in need of good quality items to sell and welcome your donations, so the next time you have a spring clean or house clearance, please remember Wakefield Hospice may be able to benefit from your unwanted items.

So don’t bin it, bag it up for Wakefield Hospice.
You can deliver your goods at any of our shops, warehouse or the hospice itself. Please note our George Street, Ridings and Teall Street shops have limited space to store donations.
For bulkier items or if you do not have transport, a collection service is also available. Please telephone our warehouse on 01924 383294 to make arrangements.

We always require good quality items to sell in our shops, including:

  • Clothes
  • Shoes
  • Books
  • DVDs and CDs
  • Linen
  • Jewellery
  • Furniture
  • Bric-a-brac
  • Working electrical items, including white goods
You can now sign up to Gift Aid when you donate your unwanted items at the warehouse or any of our shops. If you are donating larger items, we can sign you up when our drivers collect your donations. By signing up to Gift Aid, we are able to claim extra income of the sale value of your goods.

From Rags to Riches

Don’t feel you have to give us your best seconds. You can also help by donating torn, tatty and unwearable clothes and materials as we receive income for every kilo of rags we recycle.
