The Wakefield 10K, 5K & 1K are organised by Wakefield Hospice to raise funds for patient care at Wakefield Hospice. I confirm that I am taking part in this event entirely at my own risk and that I am fit to do so. I will inform the organisers of any medical condition which may affect participation in this event and agree that my medical information will be passed to medical services on the day and included on the back of my race number. I agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions of this event and the Laws of UKA. I understand and agree that the organiser shall not be liable for death, personal injury or loss or damage as a consequence of participation, except with regard to personal injury arising as a result of the organiser’s negligence. I understand that the organisers reserve the right to alter the arrangements and conditions, including the event route and start time should circumstances require. I agree that, should the event be cancelled and a suitable alternative date cannot be arranged, my entrance fee shall be donated to Wakefield Hospice. We have professional photographers at the event. By participating in the Wakefield 10K/5K/1K you are giving Wakefield Hospice your consent to use your photograph for marketing, publicity and any future advertising of the event. All entrants shall be deemed to have made him/herself/themselves familiar with and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules. The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the date of entry, whether or not the entrant is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK. No refunds or transfer of places 21 days before the event. Wakefield Hospice reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to refuse entry to, or remove from the event, any individual whose participation is deemed to pose a risk to the safety, wellbeing, or enjoyment of participants, spectators, volunteers, staff, or members of the public. This includes, but is not limited to, safeguarding concerns, inappropriate conduct, failure to comply with event rules or instructions, or circumstances that may adversely affect the reputation of the event or Wakefield Hospice.
