FRIDAY 7TH OCTOBER 2022
Hospice Care Week 2022 runs from 10-14 October, a week dedicated to raising the profile of hospice care across the country. What better way to get ready for the week than to launch our very own awareness day, with opportunities for every person across the Wakefield District to get involved!
On Friday 7th October, we are asking all Wakefield residents to support our first ever “Wakefield Hospice Pyjama Day” – encouraging you to wear your favourite pyjamas throughout the day and raise vital funds to support our services.
Whether you work in an office or a shop, you have children in school or in college or you simply want to get involved from the comfort of your home, all are welcome (and actively encouraged) to put on your favourite PJs and support Wakefield's local hospice.

Earlier this month we launched our Resilience Appeal – aiming to raise £250,000 to fight back from the impact of the past two years – all funds raised from the Wakefield Hospice Pyjama Day will go towards this appeal.
