Butterfly Appeal
This summer we invite you to decorate a butterfly in memory of someone special and help create a beautiful display of colours and patterns at the hospice and an online gallery of tributes to loved ones.

All the butterflies will be added to a display in the hospice gardens as well as a special photo gallery on the hospice's website.

The donation made to dedicate each butterfly will help fund patient care at the hospice this summer and in the coming months.
Dedicate a butterfly

For a donation of your choice you will receive a simple wooden template to decorate and a postcard with the name of the person you are remembering. The template is approx 15 x 12cm and comes with a decorating guide and a Freepost envelope to return it in. You can also return your butterfly via one of our shops, or drop it off at the hospice any day between 9am and 5pm.

You can dedicate a butterfly whether or not you have a link to the hospice, and if you’ve been bereaved recently or some time ago. To receive a butterfly template (or ask us to decorate a butterfly for you) please make your dedication and donation on the hospice website or call the fundraising team on 01924 331401. Please request your butterfly now and return it to us in plenty of time for us to include in the display.

Thank you

Thank you for supporting the Butterfly Appeal. The hospice is a registered charity and receives most of its running costs from voluntary sources. Your donation will help provide the highest quality care for local families facing life-limiting illnesses, and your butterfly will form part of a beautiful display to celebrate the lives of family and friends being remembered.

Thank you for the incredible way you cared for my mum, Dorothy. We will never forget the work the hospice did for us and continues to do for others
