Anniversary Rose
We're proud to present our limited edition commemorative rose to celebrate three decades of sharing the care for local families since the hospice first opened its doors in 1990. 
Our 30th Anniversary Rose has been designed and handcrafted in Yorkshire exclusively for Wakefield Hospice to mark this special milestone. The rose is sculpted in stainless steel and hand-painted in the pinks and yellows of a beautiful sunrise. The design reflects the Sunrise Rose which was created to mark the hospice’s 20th anniversary. Each rose is approx 36cm long and the bloom is approx 9cm wide. The rose is a decoration - it can be displayed outside but it may weather with the passing of the seasons.

Please join us in celebrating 30 years of hospice care in Wakefield as we look to the future. With your support, the hospice will continue caring for patients and their loved ones in the years to come. 
Dedicate a rose

Each Anniversary Rose can be dedicated to a loved one for a suggested donation of £100. You're welcome to dedicate a rose whether or not you have a link to the hospice, and if you’ve been bereaved recently or some time ago. Roses can be dedicated by an individual, a family, or a group of friends or colleagues. We invite you to add a suggested optional amount of £5 to your donation to cover postage and packing.

You will receive your rose in a simple presentation box together with a card showing your loved one’s name. Their name will also be displayed with your dedication message on a special page on the hospice's website.

Your donation will help provide the highest quality care for people with life-limiting illness. The vast majority of the hospice’s funding comes from charitable sources and its services are only available because of your generosity. Thank you.
