Thank you for supporting the Verbena Appeal by growing some beautiful flowers at home in memory of someone special. We’ve also planted some Verbenas at the hospice on behalf of people who don’t have access to a garden, and supporters will be welcome to visit the hospice garden to view these flowers once they come into bloom.
Whether you sow your seeds at home or simply enjoy knowing that the hospice is sowing some on your behalf, growing these flowers together after such a difficult year will symbolise renewed hope and optimism as we look ahead to the future.
The plants will start flowering either this summer or next summer, producing tall, purple blooms from July to October year after year.
