Light up a Life is back for 2024 - a time for us all to come together, remember and celebrate the lives of our loved ones

Join us this year in remembering those special to you by making a donation to Wakefield Hospice and dedicating a light on our Tree of Lights.

Each year Light up a Life helps to raise vital funds which enable us to keep our doors open throughout the festive period and into the New Year - we can't do what we do without the support of peoplle like you.

Anyone can dedicate a light on our Tree of Lights - you do not need to have a connection to the hospice. All we ask is for a suggested minimum donation of £10 per dedication.

Light up a Life services

We host three Light up a Life services, one at Wakefield Hospice (Friday 6th December) and two at Wakefield Cathedral (Sunday 8th December). Thank you to all who joined us at our services in 2024.

At these special services our beautiful Tree of Lights were lit, with hundreds of twinkling lights shining brightly in memory of loved ones.
