Donation Centre Manager

We are looking for a motivational and experienced Donation Centre Manager to oversee operations at our Donation Centre located on Tadman Street in Wakefield - managing staff and volunteers and the procurement and movement of stock throughout our WH Retail stores.

PLEASE NOTE: This role is Monday to Friday with the occasional rota’d Saturday .

Our donation centre is very busy receiving donations for our shops and ecommerce team. The donation centre receives goods from personal donations and from house clearances, every item we receive is sorted and managed.

We are so lucky to receive such generous donations that we can then resell in our shops, online by our ecommerce team and where items are not resalable we have recycling options including selling for rags. Nothing that is donated is wasted.

In this role you will be managing a loyal team of volunteers and staff. The role covers the house clearance and our drivers. All our stock comes to the warehouse and is sorted and distributed to our network of shops. The Warehouse sort donations and put together the shop orders and meet the demands of the shops and ecommerce team.
