Grants, Trusts and Foundations
Financial support from Grants and Trusts is a very important source of income for Wakefield Hospice. It can offer stability by covering core services or enable vision to become reality by funding innovation and development of existing and new services.
Current Funding Requests
Through the generosity of grant makers such as Trusts and Foundations we can grow, improve and develop as a service provider as we continually strive to offer the best possible care to our patients and their families.

Trust in Us

Funding may be needed for a specific service, piece of clinical and non-clinical equipment or it might be to fund a specific person to help develop the expertise of our staff.

Click here to view the most recent Trust in Us newsletter which celebrates the impact that grant funding has had over the last 12 months to the ongoing, outstanding care at Wakefield Hospice.
We are continually looking for support across all aspects of work here at the hospice and have many opportunities to support our projects.  If you are aware of any trust or foundation, no matter how big or small, who might be able to support any aspect of hospice work (clinical or non-clinical), please contact our Trusts Fundraiser, Faye Nairn on 01924 331400 or email
